I JUST WANTED ALL MY TRAINING IN ONE PLACE

In 2025, I competed at the World Transplant Games in Dresden. The hardest part wasn't the training, it was the tools. My $1,000 Freelap kit couldn't time flying sprints, gym apps weren't built for sprinters, and a spreadsheet held the rest. So I built KineticX.

PHASE 1 · LIVE BETA

THE DASHBOARD

A place to build and log your workouts. Presets to get beginners started, full customization for anyone who already knows what they're doing — because sprint training isn't one-size-fits-all.

StatusIn active use
Presets pulled from known sprint workouts
Learn the why behind every phase
Every source credited and linked back
Neodymium magnet trigger — no batteries to charge
ESP32-based, fully open-source firmware
Build it yourself, or buy it pre-assembled
PHASE 2 · IN DEVELOPMENT

TIMING GATES, REBUILT

Another cone cost more than I had. Here, every extra gate is just a magnet on a pole, set at whatever distance you want. Build your own with the open-source code, or buy one pre-assembled from me.

PHASE 3 · PLANNED

TRAINING THAT LOGS ITSELF

After the gates, the same sensors move into the gym, measuring bar speed and power on every rep. The long game: with enough data, KineticX learns to recognize your drills, sets and reps on its own, so you just hit start and train.

StatusAfter the gates
Bar speed and power on every rep
Every movement measured, not just sprints
Auto-logging, once there's enough data

JUST A SPRINTER WHO GOT TIRED OF WAITING.

I needed everything in one place, and nobody was building it. Waiting for a company to add what I needed could take forever. So I started building it myself. Now it needs tuning, and that's what the beta is for.
